Course description

The school is intended for advanced undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers from physics, math, earth sciences, engineering, etc. Topics include modern methods of data science, see syllabus below. Students will be guided in the use of the freely available python programming language for course assignments.

Needed background: first and second year undergraduate math courses for mathematics, physics and engineering students, including linear algebra and calculus.
